Itajime Shibori

The scarf is dyed using the Itajime Fold Technique.

The cloth is folded in a myriad of shapes and sizes.
The folds are clamped with a board to create a unique resist design,
and then vat dyed.

The process is repeated for a second and third colour.
The colour is strong and permanent.

The folding and dyeing variations are endless.

Hand-washable.  Colourfast.
