Gaudi’s Girl       1999

The inspiration for this piece comes from the Spanish Architect,
Antoni Gaudi. (1852 – 1926)

His buildings are famous for their vibrant colours, exquisite detail and poetic expressiveness.

The stained glass windows. The richly textured surfaces. The highly decorative tile work.

All are a source of delight and inspiration for me.

I would like to pay tribute to the Modernmismo movement and the great visionary, GAUDI.
